Modifying How the Text is Read

You can directly modify how the text you entered is read.

  1. Click the pronunciation editing area.
  2. The method for editing pronunciation varies by language and is as follows:

Pronunciation Changes from Input and Editing

In VoiSona Talk, when part of a sentence is modified, the pronunciation and accent of the unchanged portions remain as consistent as possible. Therefore, the pronunciation of the same sentence may produce different depending on how it is entered or edited.

Devoicing Vowels (for Japanese Voice Library)

By adding a full-width apostrophe (’) at the end of the reading, you can devoice the vowel.

The stress (emphasised part) of English words can be expressed by adding a number after the vowel. However, even if you specify stress, there may be little change in the synthetic voice.
